My first contemporary fantasy tells the tale of a pissed-off mom determined to get her (adult) son back from the dragon boss who has kidnapped him. Includes a multiverse and portals, a deadly landscape, a small ensemble cast, a dragon boss who might not be quite as brilliant as he thinks he is, giant centipedes, magical skills, cross-world markets, old grudges and new problems, grandchildren, shotguns, union organizing, a disgruntled dragon administrator, and dogs.
