Can you listen to three audiobooks at once?
September audiobook releases & promotions
For reasons never explained to me, three of my books are coming out in audio format on September 26, 2023. Head out on a long road trip! Make those long awaited plans to paint your house! Plenty to listen to!
The audio publisher offers preorder promotions so here’s your chance to grab all three books at a bargain rate (theoretically).
Links to all three books:
Crown of Stars book 7 (finished at last!) (this is very emotional both for me and for the superb voice actor, Shiromi Arserio, who emailed me the very day she recorded the final words, to let me know)
An Earthly Crown (Jaran continues, narrated by experienced voice actor Cindy Kay)
Spirit Gate (book one of the Crossroads trilogy). Voice actor Zehra Jane Naqvi asked a ton of questions, and I sent her a ton of world building material, so I’m eager to see how this sounds.
As I’ve said before, I’m thrilled to see my backlist appearing in audio format. It’s a great new format for readers, and also a different way to absorb the story, through the skill and emotion of voice actors. Tantor Media is publishing all three of these series, and they work with consistently excellent narrators.
Here, rather delayed from its original date in January 2023, is a link to a roundtable about Alexander the Great in fiction, one of the offerings at the FOREVER ALEXANDER CONFERENCE. Moderated by scholar and author Dr. Jeanne Reames, the panelists are Jo Graham, Melissa Scott (icon!), and me. It’s almost two hours in length and was quite a fascinating discussion (in my opinion). Jeanne, Jo, and Melissa are knowledgeable and interesting folks. Everyone else wrote historical Alexander in one form or another (straight historical, historical fantasy, and alternate history, respectively), and of course I was the space opera option.

I can’t recall if I’ve shared this Finn photo here or elsewhere. Apologies, if so. But truly, can there ever be enough snoot?
As always, thank you for reading. I could not do this without you.
