Already November
and a title!
The contemporary fantasy novella (technically a short novel) that I turned in to Tordotcom Publishing in late September has an official title:
THE KEEPER’S SIX
This photo by drmakete lab is a nice placeholder image until the book gets a cover. You’ll understand after you read the story. It’s a light-hearted and (I hope) heartwarming story with portals, dragons, banter, community organizing, shifting sands, unexpected book collecting, a kidnapping, a shotgun, and one very pissed-off mom. No confirmed publication date yet but I am hoping early 2023.
I’ll note the title hasn’t been officially or publicly announced yet, so for the moment it is just between us. :)

The Signed Page is offering signed (and personalized, if you wish) copies of SERVANT MAGE. They are going to ship the books to me and have me sign and return them, which is why they can offer personalization (as well as signed on the title page). I don’t expect to do a signing tour for this release, so while there may be signed bookplates available, this is an option for those who would like a signed first edition.
Alternatively you can pre-order as an ebook or a print book from the online or brick-and-mortar bookstore of your choice. Pre-orders help writers in this complex publishing marketplace. Thank you!

In case you haven’t seen this elsewhere, the lovely folks at camp dressed Finn up in a Halloween costume. And if you have seen it elsewhere, it is worth seeing twice.
